Duty Rotas

All members are expected to play an active part in some aspect of Club life, at the very least by assisting with race organisation about 3-4 times a year. No experience is needed for this role as you will be with an experienced race officer who will be happy to explain what is going on and to introduce you to other members of the club. The success of the Club depends entirely upon the commitment and enthusiasm of its members.

Safety boat rota: May 2018 August 2018 here

Combined duty rotas: April 2018 August 2018 here

Please note: This listing covers a 5 month period, so your name is likely to appear more than once!

Mid-week combined rota: Evening and Twilight Race Series May September 2018 here

Customarily comprised of those with the relevant experience or qualifications shown as competing last season. This year, Jeff Thompson has kindly agreed to be the standing Race Officer throughout the Series, thus allowing us to schedule Race Assistants and full safety boat crews for each evening. As usual, these Series are self-policing, so if you can't fulfil your duty as scheduled, please make alternative arrangements with others on this list.

Contact telephone numbers can be found in the clubhouse. If you are unable to do your duty on the date assigned please swap with someone else on the list. Telephone numbers of members can be obtained from the detailed list posted in the clubhouse. In the case of Safety Helm and Crews each has had a copy posted to them.

Bar and Galley duties: call Julie Wilson, Tel: 01908 614026 or Mob: 07920 760662 or email: to arrange collection of the bar money and keys. For any Galley queries please call Louise Pakes on 01908 618762 or contact via email:

Safety Boat Helm and Crews: October 28th 2018: clocks go back. Wet/dry suits mandatory till March 25th, 2018. Helms please telephone your designated crew (and vice versa) during the week before your scheduled duty to confirm availability and minimise the risk of inadvertent 'no-shows'.
