Welcome to the Haversham Sailing Club website.

If you are a new or prospective member we look forward to meeting you at the club. We pride ourselves on being a friendly bunch so please feel free to ask questions about any aspect of the Club. Sunday is the best day to find a variety of members to talk to – so why not sail on down!

Sailing is an excellent all year round family sport and pastime providing wonderful opportunities to meet new challenges and work together to learn new skills. We encourage both young and old, novice and expert, men and women to compete together, either singly or in teams. We are a Royal Yachting Association training centre providing certificated courses. These courses are followed up with support during the post qualification period that can lead to race training for those interested. We run family Saturdays which are ideal for those looking to extend their experience in the knowledge that there is a safety boat and experienced members on hand. Regular events include racing every Sunday as well as Wednesday and Friday evenings during summer. We also host Opens. Most of our members have their own boats but we have a wide range of club boats that are available to all members and our Youth and Buccaneers squads.

Members are able to use the Club facilities every day of the year – some come down just to walk around the lake or to use the club grounds for a 'day out' with a picnic or barbeque. A full Galley and Bar is available during organised events and there is a kitchenette that is always open, as well as social areas and changing facilities. Keep a look out for all our activities via the Events section of the website – and of course all members receive the monthly Haversham HUG events and rotas e–newsletter.

There is always something going on at Haversham Sailing Club. Check out our web calendar.
